Li-Ting Hung
Artist & Teacher
Li-ting have studied with many great teachers and artists and earned a Masters Degree in Architecture and Design from the University of Cincinnati. She has shown her art work in galleries in Morgantown WV, Chicago, Seattle, Everett and now Edmonds WA, and was honored that her sculpture Blue Cat Day Dreaming won third place award in the sculpture group with the Edmonds arts festival 2005, and her work, My Attempt to Dwell was jury selected by the Edmonds Arts Festival 2008.
Li-ting also love to teach art. She is curently teaching art to students from K to Grade 8th at Soundview Private School in Lynnwood, WA.
Li-ting has written two masters thesis. You may read her thesis on line. The title of her thesis from West Virgina University is, "They don't throw, they thurn; they don't fire, they burn": Place and Identities in Seagrove North Carolina. She earned her second masters degree from University of Cincinnati. The title of her thesis is, Stories of Making:Lessons for the Understanding of Dwelling.
